The latest updates and improvements to Minicastle on web and iOS.
Minicastle is now available as a native iPhone app. Track issues, projects, and inventory from your phone — capture photos, log work on the go, and stay on top of your home from anywhere. Download it free on the App Store. Your data syncs with the web app, with additional collaboration features coming soon.
You can now choose Manual sorting on the Issues tab and drag issues into the order that makes sense for your home. Minicastle remembers your preferred order on each computer, even when you are working with a filtered list.
The Issues tab now has a dedicated filter menu for status, priority, type, media, scheduled, overdue, cost, and time logged. Active filters appear as removable chips so it is easier to see and adjust the current view.
You can now customize the word used for "issues" across the app to match how you like to think about your house work - whether that's "tasks", "tickets", "requests", or something else entirely.
Minicastle now has a public roadmap page where you can see what's being planned and built. Check it out to get a sense of where the app is headed and share feedback.
Buttons and content inside modals were shifting unexpectedly when saving. This layout jump has been fixed for a smoother editing experience.
Help documentation is now available directly within Minicastle, replacing the previous separate docs site. You can browse guides and references without leaving the app, and navigation links throughout the interface point to the updated in-app docs.
A brand-new dashboard gives you a consolidated overview of your property at a glance. Quickly see activity, issues, and inventory without jumping between separate sections.
The Minicastle landing page has been updated with clearer copy and a calendar preview, so you can get a better sense of the app before signing up.
Forms across the app — including issue creation, building management, and inventory — have been updated with improved layouts, better date pickers, and more consistent input styles for a smoother editing experience.
Tooltips were not appearing correctly in certain parts of the app. They now show up reliably wherever helpful hints are expected.
